Durian is the latest game from the well-known game designer Masato Uesugi, creator of “Paper Tales”, featured on the recommended game list for the 2019 KDJ, “Welcome to the Dungeon (Dungeon of Mandom)”, and many more! Inside the compact box you’ll find 7 wooden card stands, a small handbell and cards. This board game can be played by a wide range of 2 to 7 players and small children can have fun too.
Players become a clerk in a fruit shop and each player takes one fruit card each. The number of fruit shown on all of the players cards is the current amount of fruit in stock. However, because you can’t see your own fruit card, you don’t know what the actual amount of fruit is. Using the reactions of the other players around you, predict the amount on your own card and carefully try to stock the fruit. If you think too many orders have been taken, ring the handbell and call over the gorilla manager. “Hey, Boss!”
